Organizational Factors and the Generastion of Academic Start-Ups: Evidence from Italy

In this paper we highlight the importance of some organizational factors (team working, articulation of roles, communication and networking, commitment and will to innovate, innovative climate, market orientation, prior joint experience) for successful innovations to occur and for creating a fertile environment favoring the valorization and commercial exploitation of research results. Our unit of analysis is represented by the academic context in which innovative technological knowledge, worth to be exploited, is generated.
