Abstract

Pakistan's Telecom market is changing dynamically. Mobile growth has challenged the very existence of fixed line incumbent operator. In order to understand the rise of MNC-Mobile-Cellular Operators this working paper attempts to highlight current regulatory issues and maps the global operations of Pakistan's key Mobile-Cellular Operators. With international experience and presence of these global mobile operators, there is a need for the Ministry of IT & Telecom, PTA and PTCL to establish Global Telecom Management, insight. International Services Trade of Telecom Services, under GATS-WTO demands to develop and integrate business strategy and country polices in the light of New-Mobile-World-Order.
