Human Rights and Indivisibility: The Dilemma for Business

Human Rights are often declared to be indivisible. This concept can cause a dilemma for business, especially when establishing social licence to operate, as business is often criticized for providing only certain human rights such as power, clean water, education and health care commonly, and thus not providing the whole panoply of human rights to the community.
The article describes the counter argument to the indivisibility concept and provides companies with basic information to provide responses to criticism for failure to deliver all human rights simultaneously.
