In this introduction to the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law's 2016 Law Review Symposium, I articulate the reasons why there may be no city better positioned than Memphis to host scholarly discussion on the many-layered topic of Urban Revitalization: The Legal Implications of Restoring a City.
