Abstract

Employment and wage characteristics of anthropologists, archaeologists, and related postsecondary teaching occupations are analyzed in terms of employment level, geographical concentration of occupation, annual mean wage, and entry-level wage. The study found anthropology- and archaeology-related occupations outperformed the overall economy in employment and wage growth over the past five years, while 10 year comparisons were mixed.
