Risks Associated with Cross Border Transactions in Context of India: A Case Study Approach

Abstract

The paper takes into account the various kind of risks associated with cross border transactions that assume importance in Indian scenario. In order to identify such risks, an attempt has been made to analyze the major cases of cross border transactions that occurred in India and to identify the various risks specific to those projects or transactions. The paper also enlists the various ways in which such risks were mitigated by the concerned parties and also tends to establish the ways in which those risks could have been mitigated.
