Abstract

The fact that the majority of contributions to the study of Acts have been (presumed/predisposed to assuming) that its author was writing history as we understand history, is precisely why this study is interested in addressing the historical question and subsequently offer evidence for an alternative view which suggests that Luke may have made use of literary devices of the sort which were used in the realm of great literature.
