Arbitration and competition law are quite strange bedfellows. In some ways they are inherently contradictory and incompatible, but equally they can greatly complement one another in certain situations. This paper charts the increasingly widespread use of arbitration as a means of settling competition law claims, before assessing the appropriateness of such developments and the potential impacts on competition law in the future. Note: This is a DRAFT Working Paper and all comments are most welcome.
