Abstract

This article critically examines the ruling in Rajshree Sugar & Chemicals Ltd. v. Axis Bank Ltd. which upholds the legal validity of forex derivative contracts under Indian law. It also reflects on ICICI Bank Ltd. v. Sundaram Multi Pap Ltd. which follows the same trend in a different context.
