Abstract

Consumer credit providing banks are charging high interest rate from its consumer credit customers. It is always assumed that they are making huge profit rather than other sector of the bank such as corporate banking, institutional banking and foreign exchange or trade service. Nevertheless, unfortunately, banks could not able to make such profit what people are thinking in general way. Many bank officials opined in the interview time that banks are keeping their consumer credit service due to promotion; it is no more profitable due to its complexity, delinquency rate, procedures, dissatisfaction of the customers, total loan volume.
